Moonlight (2002) is a work by Lydia Venieri dedicated to Kimon Skasi. In 2006, ten years after his passing, it was published by Agra Publishers. In 2007, it became an audio and visual artwork conceived and created specifically as an application for Apple's iPhone. The profits from the application were contributed directly to Amnesty International. Moonlight traces the timeless narrative of the Goddess of the Moon, Selene and her yearning for the love of the young Endymion. A goddess watches as vengeful gods curse her lover to an eternal sleep. Her grief awakens a new power, allowing her to rule an unseen mystical world. Thirty years after Kimon's death, Moonlight will be exhibited for the first time in the historic cellar of Arnados, a medieval village on Tinos. The exhibition opens on July 25 at 18:00 and will run from July 25 to September 20, 2026.
